***Food Grade Organic Skin Care, Cosmetics, and household Cleaners!


I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about something that I am now involved in. For those of you who have worked with me over the years, you know that Geoff and I have a strong orientation and commitment to living as naturally and organically as possible. I have always believed that it is not only what we put IN our bodies, but what we put ON our bodies, that is important for maintaining a good quality of health for the long run.

I have been dedicated for many years, in fact back as far as I can remember, to being sure that the products that I use are as clean and pure as possible, and introduce the least amount of stress into my system as possible.

Over the past several years, there has been constant information surfacing about the toxic chemicals in skin and hair care products, household cleaners, baby products-pretty much everything! It feels a bit scary out there, when we are all trying to do the best we can to be healthy, provide our kids with a good fighting start in life, only to find out that we have been using things that are toxic! YIKES! In fact, the average adult uses 9 personal care products daily exposing them to 126 toxic chemicals every day!

Because it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to avoid toxins in the environment, foods, and water, and because the stress of trying is likely to kill us, I think that the best way to deal with this is to be an informed consumer.

Okay, okay, enough of that. In my search to find something that is a good quality-meaning non toxic, and provides excellent quality to a wide variety of skin types-I came across this line of Food Grade Organic skin care, cosmetics, cleaners, and baby products that are amazing. Food grade organic (means it's safe enough to EAT!) is held to a significantly higher standard. In fact, the Environment Working Group, a consumer group that keeps an eye on chemicals in the environment and products, has given this line a remarkable rating-all products come up between 0-2, low hazard. I haven't seen any other product do as well.

In an effort to experiment and make sure that these products are good for all skin types, I purchased samples of all of the skin care lines, and asked some friends to try them and give me feedback. I also tried them myself. Well, the response was absolutely impressive! I must say, I didn't expect to get all converts!
