Dear ,
Wow! Thanks for praying for us. God answered in very cool ways. After driving over 11,000 kilometers (6,700 miles) in 6 weeks and sleeping in 16 different beds, we finally made it home. Our journey started in July driving to the FBGC National Conference, Vision 2020, in Ohio. Before we got out of NY, the check engine light came on followed by the DRL light and a strange noise from the window seal. Next, the maintenance light started flashing. It was an interesting beginning to a glorious trip that kept us praying! At conference, GBCanada USA hosted its first-ever Canadian breakfast for 100 guests featuring Canadian bacon, real maple syrup and updates from the entire team. It was a well-attended blessing and we had lots of laughs and a wonderful time. It's always great seeing the 'family' and many dear friends and catching up on all the latest. There was a great vibe and Spirit the entire time as we all are joining together to see the fellowship growing and moving forward into future generations.

We then drove three days to Medicine Hat, Alberta (north of
Montana) to join in the Great Canadian Adventure. There GBCanada hosted over 40 adults and teens from OH, CA, PA and IA for a week-long outreach to connect into the community. Our time together included a free car wash, skateboard clinic, Habitat for Humanity project, park programs for children, literature distribution and many other exciting projects announcing the launch of our newest church, Grasslands. After taking a week to visit friends in Vancouver, crossing the awesome Canadian Rockies twice, taking both southern and northern routes, we spent another week in Medicine Hat. This time GBCanada hosted the first-ever Grace TransCanada Summit. This was the first time all 4 of the Canadian churches came together for a week of community and missional serving. Following on the heels of the GCA group two weeks prior, 42 families, over 100 people, jumped right in to do similar community projects expanding our reach into the community,
The efforts during both weeks of serving the community, caught some healthy attention as there were features on the front page of the local paper and a radio interview with Pastor Oliver. While we were all in one location, there was a good deal of time spent among the leadership for the future church planting efforts to build momentum across Canada. Please be in prayer as new strategies are invoked, that God would continue to grow His church around the world through multiplying followers of Jesus that grow and multiply again. Our final week driving home took us through the badlands of Alberta, Moose Jaw and the prairies of Regina, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Thunder Bay and Sault Ste Marie, Ontario as we followed the TransCanada Highway. We saw some amazing sites and met some very interesting people along the way. We drove around Lake Superior and took the Tobermory Ferry to cross Lake Huron, near the Georgian Bay. It was amazingly beautiful from majestic mountains to amber prairie grasslands and evergreen forests surrounded by crystal blue lakes. It was a big highlight of our summer for sure. Thanks so much for praying for all the great things that were accomplished not only in Medicine Hat, AB to get the word out for Grasslands Church, but in the hearts of all those involved, that we all will continue to be impassioned for the glory of God and do whatever He's asking of us in these times. We give Him all the praise for what is to come.
