Hi there!

Medicine Hat Matters

Well, things are getting quite exciting in Medicine Hat.  Oliver, Bart and their wives, Cheryl and Elizabeth are 175 x 100 grasslandsmeeting lots of new people and continue "grazing in the grass" for people to join their core team.  The Medicine Hat team continues to hold infosessions and meet

with people one-on-one in their homes.  Please pray for sales for Oliver, and jobs for Cheryl, Bart and Elizabeth as their finances have just about been depleted.

You can follow Oliver and Bart's journeys at www.gbcanada.ca/church-planters.

VCC logoOther News from The Village...

The Village is gearing up for some new baptisms in April and a new Easter series called "God Likes You."  We're going to be delivering 25,000 hand signed letters to every house in Milton.  See www.villagechurch.ca for more information.

The February combined couples retreat of The Village and Grace was a wonderful time in Niagara Falls with over 100 people.  We were blessed to present one of the electives on intimacy but the main speaker was our very own pastor, Rob Stanley, who did an incredible job being real with the couples.

Thanks also for praying for 11 new people in the 6 week spring DNA/John study as they connect to God in deeper ways and become a part of the Village.

On the homefront...we're counting down the days for Madi to deliver our third grandchild mid May. Who knows, she could still have 'Irish twins' if it's before Beren's first birthday.

Beren took his first steps last week and we were able to watch him via Skype and now Facebook.  Seth and Katie recently enjoyed their new diving certification.  Not sure if I could breathe thru my mouth at 80 feet underwater AND enjoy myself at the same time.  Austin continues to verbally mature and is so funny to have a conversation with.  He's becoming such a caring little man at 4 years old and loves hanging out with cous' Beren.

Thankful for the blessing of family and friends.

Our calendar is filling up pretty quickly as we get ready to head off to Wooster, OH for the NEO District Conference then on to Martinsburg, PA to meet with Trustee and Senior Pastor, Kurt Miller.  We'll eventually land in Maryland for GBCanada USA board meetings and visits to Waldorf and Clinton GBCs then back to Canada.

Would love to see you again and you are invited to join us and Nathan Bryant April 9th for the Waldorf GBC Missions Brunch 9:30am-12:30pm.   For more info and RSVP see http://gbcwaldorf.org/page28/page28.html.

We'll be on the road again in May for GBIF Board meetings in Indianapolis, IN and perhaps Virginia when Madi delivers our third grandchild (and the first ever girl!).  Appreciate your love and prayer which pulls this all together by God's grace.

Please drop us an e-mail to elise@gbcanada.ca and let us know how we can pray for you too.  We're so grateful for our friendship and connection.
