Qigong reduces stress in computer operators.

Abstract
Chinese research indicates that the Qigong method reduces psychosomatic and physical symptoms through an effect on the sympathetic nervous system.
OBJECTIVES:
The aim was to investigate the effects of Qigong on stress among computer operators.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Qigong reduced noradrenaline excretion in urine (p<0.05), and influenced the heart rate and temperature, indicating reduced activity of the sympathetic nervous system. Moreover, Qigong reduced low-back symptoms (p<0.05). In conclusion, Qigong exercise may reduce stress at computerised work.

Just received the proclamation from Senator Bennett and it surpasses my expectations. Senator Bennett has proclaimed April 28, 2012 as WTCQD for the entire state of Florida.

We referred them to the local Hong Kong organizers for their local information about their coming event. Physical Therapy Magazine Contacted Us for Information on Tai Chi as a Physical Rehab. Tool for their Coming Article on Tai Chi!
As always, we referred their readers (which are Physical Rehabilitation professionals in the US and worldwide) to WorldTaiChiDay.org's "Events/Schools" directory to find contact info for local teachers, to help them establish PT programs in their institutions.
"Hear Women Talk" Radio covered WTCQD 2012 last Wed.
Here Women Talk Radio will discuss World Tai Chi & Qigong Day, and World Healing Day 2012 events, to open their show at 11 am EDT.
