Greetings!  

For this month's Newsletter, we wanted to share with you an analysis of our Tri-County region that was prepared for our Annual Tri-County Economic Forecast Conference.

This analysis, that we call our 2011 Tri-County Economic Scorecard, looks at our region against six other similar regions located in California, Nevada, and Oregon.  We analyzed data on Economic Performance, Human Capital, Entrepreneurial Environment, Innovative Activity, and Quality of Place.

Using a standardized index for individual factors and composite indicators we compared each region to each other as well as how each region compares to a National Average.

Also, we hope to revisit these same factors on an annual basis in order to evaluate our progress over time.
