Hello CCC Ladies,
This month's theme has perrrrfect timing! I'm Woman, I'm Fabulous and I Need a Day Off!
As Oprah recently said, "we put ourselves at the bottom of our own list, plus we need a personal wake up call to break habits that don't serve us." She nailed it! That's what CCC is passionate about-serving busy women with plenty of ways to be kind to themselves. I don't know about you but it's been a busy month filled with lots of ups and downs, and I'm so happy that the theme reminded me to take a day off. I finally got over the fact that my house, my business and my life won't fall apart if I step away for a minute, an hour or even a day! So, I asked my husband to watch the baby for the weekend and I treated myself to a full day off! I checked into a hotel, got a pedicure, enjoyed some meditation and just chilled out by myself in Sunny Scottsdale (all for under $125 bucks!). I even found my way to the beautiful grounds of The Casa for a swing in their garden. Sometimes we just have to remind ourselves that we are allowed to take a break and simply request it! Allow the theme to inspire you to do a simple act for yourself that is loving, non-judgmental and empowering. Chapter update: We now have 3 new CCC chapter directors who are planning their first events - check them out: NE Phoenix, Denver and Chicago! These ladies work hard to provide fun, friendship and inspiration for the women of their town, so please spread the word! Tucson is coming next! Don't have a chapter near you? Start One!
