Time Saving Tools for the Olympics and other events from

Greetings!
As a customer focussed, pro-active licensee, you will understand the term, " time is more valuable than money." You are sure to be promoting your venue on the Internet, either by social media, your own website, company website, blogs and portals and you will be on the lookout for new ideas to save you time without costing you a fortune. With the Olympics just around the corner, there's just not enough time in the day left to do all the revenue generating stuff you want to do. I know the feeling, I also have a bar, and, last October I was left feeling a little defeated as I handed over control to my manager Nas and his brother Dino. He now manages it full-time because I just still don't have the " time" to run both the Network and the bar.
This is why I'm always on the lookout to discover and develop new ways to "leverage" time. Taking the smallest action that will yield the largest result or, most output - least input. (not to be confused with being lazy) "leveraging time" allows you to get the most out of each day and, will help free you up so that you can get more done in operational areas.

On Saturday we listed 14 pubs showing the Haye v Chisora fight. 5,493 different people came onto the site that day, looking for a pub to watch it. (probably close to 7,000 if we include users searching the iPhone app).
I phoned each pub 2 hours before the fight to check progress and all the venues I got through to were not taking any more bookings and, a few were reluctantly still allowing "walk-ins". (Note: Incredibly, I couldn't find the fight promoted on any of their own websites. Promotions seemed to be in-house and on the Network only).
We are working very hard to get the optimised Olympic pages built and out there which will benefit our subscribing licensees and regular visitors. Hopefully early next week our campaign will be ready. Anyone searching Google will find who is showing which event, when and where via the Network like they did for the Haye v Chisora fight.
We will be utilising social media tools to assist in driving traffic into subscribing venues for each and every event and we will make it easy for visitors to share pub information virally and to make reservations if you take them. There are a lot of diverse people here for the Olympics who are not going to know you exist and, they will turn to Google and the Network for answers. If you're not listed, you're losing money.

| Please be aware that it will initially take a little time to add your information to the Network. I will do what I can to add photo's, posters, menu's, video etc. however, you must add the details and events as you know - better than me - what events you're holding and sports you're showing. Once fully set up, the Network tools can get to work for you should you want to utilise them. If you wish to stay on as a subscriber after 10th September 2012, it's £18 pm incl. VAT. |
