Greetings!
Marian at House of AngelsIt is with great anticipation that we have long-awaited announcing our new humanitarian website to you!   We are so happy to finally get it off of the ground!  The website Dream of a Child will be a current up-to-date blog of all of the humanitarian projects of Little Miracles International, Inc.   We are still updating with past projects and photos so expect to see many changes.
Dream of a Child Blog Opens!
Marian at House of Angels This blog will be very interactive.  We will be giving updates on our volunteers to the House of Angels in Romania,  Wish Upon a Star program in Russia, our ongoing humanitarian urgent needs.

We would love for you to join our site (look at the blue bar at the bottom of the site) and to follow along in our progress.  Please make comments on the individual daily posts and in the membership area (blue bar)!   We want to interact with you!

I hope your heart will be touched as you see your donations at work for the children in the areas we service.  We have several urgent projects coming up and some ongoing.  You can see those on our blog.

If you have been a faithful sponsor we thank you!  If you are a new or even one time sponsor or donor, your gift meant the entire world to a child at that moment.   We treasure you and thank you for all you generously have given.  We would love your support again!  You can read how to give on our site:    Dream of a Child Blog

Wish Upon a Star Sponsors:  We will be initiating the letter writing and sponsorship within the next month.    As always your sponsorship donations go to the entire WUAS program and all the activities that Lena undertakes for the children of Khabarovsk, Russia.

We would love to have you follow us on this great journey!
Semipalatinsk Window Project
Replacing old windows, Semey Little Miracles International, Inc. is pleased to be helping to sponsor the window replacement project in the Semiplatinsk, Kazakhstan baby house. We have been placing children for adoption since 1999 here and we want to do something more than our smaller projects we have done in the past.   The baby house is two stories tall with about ten rooms on each floor. Each room has three large windows. The windows were broken, old and falling apart. This region of North-East Kazakhstan has sub-zero temperatures in the wintertime. Drafts cause extreme heating costs and health issues for the children.

Volunteering
Lisa Trujillo, Volunteer with House of AngelsSometimes in our lives we ask, "How can I be a part of helping children in a global way?  How can I really make a difference?"

The answer is simple, become a volunteer!  We would love for you to be a part of our Volunteer team at the House of Angels in Romania.  We have been sending volunteers to the House of Angels since 2002.   Please consider becoming a part of this wonderful opportunity to change the life of a child with a hands-on experience.  Your own life will never be the same again.   This experience is described by volunteer Lisa Trujillo:

"I read somewhere "You can learn more about someone in an hour of play than in a year of conversation," - and that is something I experienced here, not just with the kids but with the staff as well. They went out of their way to make me feel warm and a part of the family, as they do with the children each day."

Visit our site and read about Lisa's experience and learn how you too can be a part of something larger in the world, and help a child in need!

We hope that you will join us in our efforts to assist at-risk of abandonment and orphaned children in the countries in which we work.   Please consider giving today.

Sincerely,

Lori Scott, Executive Director
