Time to Remodel Your Pool Area?
If your pool is over 10 years old it's time to check it and the surrounding area for signs of wear. It may be time to refurbish!
Our Florida weather that is so perfect for owning a pool also takes it's toll on pool and deck surfaces. Interior surface yellowing, dated tiles, cracks in your deck are all signs that a remodel may be in your future. In deciding if your pool needs a remodel, some of the things you should be looking at are:
DECK - Is it deteriorating? Cracks or a poly pebble surface that is constantly losing pebbles is a good sign that work needs to be done. A great way to resurface and update the area is using interlocking pavers. Since they are laid over the existing deck as a "floating" surface you won't have the mess of demolition.
INTERIOR FINISH - Old marcite or 12-15 year old quartz can be replaced with Pebble Tec® - a beautiful finish with a lifetime warranty. And, beyond white, you can choose from a variety of colors (see sidebar photo & info).
TILE - Do you have old mosaic tile, cracked 4x4's, stained
grout? Or is the tile just dated? The new 6x6 porcelain tiles are available in 300 colors and are installed with a minimal grout line. They're available in flat, gloss, semi gloss and stone finishes.
