Race Day Preparations:

-Rowers should be awake and active at least 3 hours before their race, so the body is prepared for the demands that will be placed on it.
-Eat a high fiber breakfast of whole wheat toast or bagel, juice, pancakes, waffles or oatmeal.
-Oatmeal is one of the best pre race meals.
-Avoid greasy foods, sugared cereal, and dairy products.
-Very important to drink PLENTY of WATER!

Time Trials - July 7th

 

Whose ready for Time Trials this Saturday?
Get your last few practice spins in this week!

Crews are asked to please be at dockside at least 30 minutes before their race is scheduled to start. When finalized race schedule and results can be found here on our website.
 
The regatta committee wishes all crews good luck and row safe!

As of July 4th there has been approximately 3000 spins on the pond this season!!

Booking system update:

Thanks to all of you who took the time to send in a detailed description of the issues you've been having with our online booking system.

Our service provider has been given all information regarding the issues and will be in touch with the regatta committee this week with a resolution. We are also researching other options in case this resolution is not sufficient. 
 
Again, if you are still experiencing issues with the booking system, please send an email to communications@stjohnsregatta.com and detail the problems you are having.
