Training Tip of The Day:

Roll the Videotape-
To improve technique recruit a friend to videotape you. While on the water row at a low and high rate.
While watching the video, look for where you might be lagging, stalling or rushing your stroke.

Discovery Day Regatta 

 

The first regatta of the 2012 season is approaching quickly! 

Please remember, everyone must be registered to participate in the regatta. While registering check the box indicating that you want to participate in the Discovery Day Regatta.

Reminder for all coxswains: 

 

Yesterday June 5th and Saturday June 9th at 10am, upstairs in the museum, the Captain of the Course will be conducting meetings the purpose of which is to a) outline the recommendations from the Accident Report from last year's Regatta, b) to show a video which outlines the new recommended procedures, c) to outline the new safety procedures that are being recommended d) finally to gather your input to ensure these measures that are taken are both understood and implemented properly. 

Attendance at one of these meetings is "mandatory" for any coxswain who wishes to participate in any Regatta event in 2012 starting with Discovery Day.
