Dogwood Canyon Nature Park
As a winding canyon stream mirrors a brilliant blue sky, a loan fallen leaf floats lazily along the crystal clear current. Unaffected by the beauty surrounding it, the leaf drifts aimlessly through a majestic chasm forged from thousands of years of trickling springs, meandering streams and rushing floodwaters.
Do not expect to visit Dogwood Canyon and be as unaffected as the fallen leaf, however. This non-profit haven founded by Bass Pro Shops owner Johnny Morris is nestled cozily amid the Ozark hills of Missouri and Arkansas and will mesmerize and hypnotize you with its deep and intimate revelation of what lies within. Trout Don't Live in Ugly Places

Orvis Fly-Fishing School
According to the late Lee Wulf, one of the most respected and well-known fly-fishing experts in the history of the sport, "Trout don't live in ugly places". Perhaps that is one of the reasons that it only took one bite to get me hooked for life.
On a recent trip to Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, just 30 minutes south of Branson, Missouri. One of the many amazing things I was able to participate in during my stay there was a fly-fishing clinic hosted by the Orvis Fly-Fishing School.
