Trees:  The High Rise Condos of the Forest

                                  Sunday October 2

Lichens and other organisms have created a good standard of living for themselves by moving into the high-rises of the forest:  trees.  Join Troy McMullin on a stroll in the Copeland Forest and learn how to identify trees and all about the life that grows on them.  Come learn how the smallest and largest organisms in the forest work together...you will never look at the forest the same way again!

Troy is a botanist and forest ecologist from the Biodiversity Institute of Ontario at Guelph University.  He specializes in tree and lichen identification.

 Time:  10 to 1 p.m.

Meet at the main parking lot on Ingram Road (near the 4th line)
