Carville Hansen's Disease Museum
The picturesque Indian Camp Plantation, hidden on the back roads of Carville, is actually the site of abuse and miracles. It was formerly the Gillis Long Hansen's Disease Center, the only hospital in the nation to treat Hansen's Disease (leprosy). Free Admission - Museum Hours are Tu-Sa, 10a-4p.
