Come to the Swamp Life Expo!
Experience Cajun life at the Iberville Swamp Life Expo, the official kick-off of Louisiana's month-long Experience Atchafalaya Days celebration and one of the first celebrations of Louisiana’s 200th year as a state! Food, music, arts and crafts will be featured as well as special appearances by Iberville Parish natives of the History Channel series "Swamp People" and the Discovery Channel series "Dirty Jobs."

Swingin' on the Levee
The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra will present Swingin' on the Levee at Nottoway Plantation on October 30. There will be dining, dancing, fireworks, and home and garden tours, featuring Ned Fasullo's Fabulous Big Band Orchestra. Please call the Symphony box office for tickets at 225-383-0500, ext. 100

International Acadian Festival
Mass & Water Ceremony

Celebrate a beautiful English/French mass at the “Cathedral on the Bayou,” St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and then Water Ceremony with Acadian Festival Queen “Evangeline” and her Indian Princess Court on the banks of Bayou Plaquemine at the Plaquemine Waterpark. Evening fireworks and music complete this event.

A weekend of fun for
International Acadian Festival

The 43rd Annual Acadian Festival at the Mike Zito Multipurpose Center in Plaquemine features games, music, rides, food and fun. Entertainment includes Rockin Doopsie, Don Rich, Kenny Fife, and Van Broussard. Bull Bashes and a parade through Plaquemine are also scheduled.
