Parents, Guardians, and Community Stakeholders of MCS:

I feel it is important to make you aware of a rumor started on 3/12/2012 regarding a possible weapon being on one of the school campuses.  A school level investigation has occurred with appropriate law enforcement involvement as needed.

It seems that late yesterday afternoon a "rumor" was started indicating a student had brought a gun to Hubbard Elementary School.  The administration took appropriate action to verify whether or not a weapon had been brought to the school.  The investigation concluded that NO weapon had been brought to the campus.

The matter continues to be reviewed to determine the circumstances which led to the rumor.  When matters of this type are reported to any system personnel, an investigation involving local law enforcement will begin to ensure the safety of all students on all campuses.

Respectfully submitted,

Anthony Pack

Superintendent
