TULLAHOMA, TN - The Beechcraft Heritage Museum is thrilled to celebrate Beechcraft's birthday as well as the ground-breaking 80th anniversary of the Staggerwing, 65th anniversary of the Bonanza, and 75th anniversary of the Beech 18 aircraft. During October 17 through21, Beech Party 2012 will commemorate these historically rich planes as well as other vintage aircraft from the Golden Age of flight.

"Even though the Staggerwing represents the romance of the time period, the grandeur it possesses is timeless. This year, we are not only honoring the anniversary planes, but we are providing a place where our members and guests can experience a glimpse of the Golden Age of flight," announced Wade.

The attendees can catch these glimpses through many activities that are offeredthroughout the convention. Each day will highlight a different plane, and that day'sseminar will focus on topics regarding that model. Each evening will feature a fly-by with the same model. Pilots who are interested in formation work will be able to attend a briefing prior to each flight. For the youth, Scot Perry's Air Academy will be offered during the convention. In addition to the aviation-based events, there will be: a winetasting, a "southern" cooking tasting, a book club meeting, and a flower show viewing.

Although there are hotel accommodations, space for tent camping and RVs is available in the "Beech Park" adjacent to the museum.

"The incentive for me to camp is that I don't want to miss out on anything. You get to be the last person there which gives more time to really get to meet and hang out with friends. Also, you don't have wait on the shuttle buses at the hotel. It's justawesome camping out there," Paul Safran stated.

There will be private ashowers for the campers, and the pavilion in the "Beech Park" for a location to cook. The campground proves to be a place where many come to expierence more of what Beech Party has to offer.

From the different seminars to RV/camping grounds, Beech Party has numerous outlets to enhance the members' and guests' time as they spend it celebrating such a historic time in aviation.

About Us

The Beechcraft Heritage Museum is a distinctly original one-of-a-kind, "living and working" aviation museum that traces the lineage of the Beechcraft family of airplanes.

The Museum's name reflects our commitment to promoting aviation education and preserving the Beechcraft heritage nurtured by generations of enthusiasts of all Beechcraft models from 1932 through the present. No matter what area of this history - which branch of the family tree - interests you most, you'll find it here. We invite you to join us.

The Museum is situated in a picturesque campus-style setting adjacent to the Tullahoma , Tennessee Regional Airport (THA). An attractive blend of authentically restored early American log structures and modern museum-quality construction, this 60,000 square foot facility currently houses more that two-dozen aircraft, plus many aviation artifacts and memorabilia for the enjoyment of our Members and visitors.
