Greetings!
Father's Day does not appear to be as important to many people as Mother's Day. It is true, and rightly so, that we hold motherhood in high esteem. While I would never argue this, I do want to emphasize, as many published studies have recently shown, that the role of the patriarch in our families is vitally important and should not be neglected.
Even so, I want to make a point that any man can biologically be a father but it takes a deliberate choice and sacrifice to be a "Dad". I want to honor and appreciate all those people who are Dads out there and who despite their biological relationship, have accepted the responsibility and the sacrifice it takes to be a Dad!
So Happy Dad's Day to all those who fall into this category. May you day be filled with respect and admiration from those whom you love and love you in return.
Dad's really do make a difference!

Note to Dads: Good Parenting Makes a Difference
 | | Dad's Make A Difference |
A new study by Norton School researchers show that quality parenting skills by dads reduces the incidence of risky sexual behavior by their daughters. Father's Day this Sunday is a chance to recognize dads for putting up with all manners of nonsense that kids manage to cook up on the way to adulthood.
But a new study by researchers at the University of Arizona shows just how important dad's job as a role model actually is.
