Dear Lakeview Families and Friends,

It was wonderful to see such a crowd for our Family Math Night last Thursday!  We had approximately 45 people attend training in the library focused on strategies for supporting students in math with 100 adults continuing to enjoy math games in the gym! Not only was this a memorable event for our families and staff who were able to be there, but this event also aligns directly with our Lakeview Continuous Improvement Goals. What an outstanding example of the partnership we share with our community around supporting our students and their academic growth within our school!

We did a small pizza, water, and cookie fundraiser for Student Leadership at Lakeview which raised $300.00 and unfortunately we ended up running out of pizza!  A HUGE Thank YOU to parent Anne Jensen and our Office Manger Mandi McChesney for their work in making this possible.

I'm so proud of our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students who have worked hard the last six weeks to pull together this year's school play "Peter Pan in Neverland". I've peeked in at the rehearsals, and overheard some of the songs, and it promises to be a fun night. Performances are March 7 & 8 at the LWHS Auditorium at 7pm. I hope I am able to see many of you there.

Your Very Proud Principal,
Shawna Rothaus
