Volunteers Needed For Vision and Hearing Screening Thank you to those who have volunteered to help with Vision and Hearing Screening on Tuesday, 3/13. We are still in need of 8 more volunteers. If you are available between 8:45am and 1:00pm that day, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. No prior knowledge is needed. Training will be provided. If you are not able to assist that day, there are two other opportunities to help: provide snacks for the volunteers or assist in picking up the lights for the screening. Lakeview's 6th Annual Science Fair: Thursday, 4/19Calling all young scientists! Are your students working on a cool experiment or invention this year? Share that work with other students at the science fair on Thursday, 4/19. Participants will be entered into a raffle to win some great prizes! Register by Friday, 3/7 and receive an extra ticket for the raffle!

Yearbook Order Forms
Order envelopes for the 2011-2012 Lakeview Elementary Yearbook went home with students this week. Yearbooks are $16.00 each. Orders are due by Friday, 3/23. Please make checks payable to Lakeview PTSA. If you did not receive an order envelope, you may download it from the Lakeview website at http://www.lwsd.org/school/lakeview/Documents/20112012yearbookorder.pdf. Send downloaded forms in an envelope to PTSA: Yearbook; or you may staple your check to the form. Yearbooks will be delivered to students in June.

Peter Pan In Neverland Coming Soon!
The performances of the school play, Peter Pan in Neverland, are drawing near! Come see it on Wednesday, 3/7 or Thursday, 3/8 at 7pm at the new auditorium at Lake Washington High School. Pre-order tickets by turning in a completed form available for download at http://lakeviewpeterpan.org/documents/PP_tix_order_form.pdf by Friday, 3/2. Or stop by the ticket desk at the school office before or after school beginning Thursday, 3/1. Tickets purchased in advance are $7 or $8 at the door (if they haven't sold out). The play is suitable for all ages as it retells the story of Peter Pan and includes catchy songs, funny jokes, and a great cast of 4th-6th graders!
