Harborlight Community Partners Recieves $50,000 Grant
From The Boston Foundation

HCP is pleased to announce that The Boston Foundation has awarded us a one-year $50,000 grant for general support to improve infrastructure in the wake of the recent mergers and in the support of our organization's intent to develop and manage more affordable housing projects on the North Shore. This is Harborlight Community Partners' first award of funds from The Boston Foundation. This significant investment is the result of participation in a highly competitive process whereby a limited number of organizations have been selected under the Foundation's newly articulated strategies and grant making guidelines.

"We are excited that the Boston Foundation shares our commitment to increase and improve the production, operation, and preservation of affordable housing on the North Shore for vulnerable populations. This grant will help support investment in our infrastructure at a critical time in our organizational development. We want to manage, develop, and service more affordable housing and non profit facilities. The partnership of the Boston Foundation will help us build an organization that can reach those goals sustainably over time."

HCP Executive Director Andrew DeFranza.
