IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM YOUR CREDIT UNION:
In the next couple of weeks, you will receive a new Southwest Louisiana Credit Union Visa Debit Card in the mail. This new card will replace your existing Southwest Louisiana Credit Union Visa Debit Card.
You may activate your new card as soon as you receive it by simply following the steps on the sticker placed on the card and then signing the back. However, your card cannot yet be used at that time.
You may begin using your new card the morning of Tuesday, February 7th, 2012. Please be sure to destroy your old card at that time, as it will be deactivated.
Whether you need to pick up groceries, buy gas, or make a spontaneous purchase, you won't be slowed down by having to write a check or held back because you're short of cash. Your Southwest Louisiana Credit Union Visa Debit Cards an all-in-one payment tool that will serve you quickly and easily, wherever Visa Debit Cards are accepted. It's convenient, safe and easy to use. IMPORTANT: If you have used your existing Southwest Louisiana Credit Union Visa Debit Card to pay for services that are billed directly to your card, such as Internet services, insurance, gym fees, etc., be sure to contact these vendors and provide your new card number as soon as you receive it so that your service is not interrupted. A better alternative may be to have all of your electronic payments linked directly to your checking account. If you choose to maintain the payment of your electronic services through your debit card, we strongly suggest that you be proactive in providing your merchants with your new debit card information ahead of time. This will prevent you from experiencing interruptions with your current services. We also provide additional options to fulfill your electronic payment needs such as Bill Pay through our Online Banking System (CU@HOME).
