I've been employed in the Financial Service Industry since 1980. Before finding a career with Southwest Louisiana Credit Union, I was employed for 16 years with Calcasieu Marine National Bank (Enterprise Branch). During my service at Calcasieu I held a variety of positions and eventually was promoted to Teller Supervisor. For the last 14 years I have been employed at Southwest Louisiana Credit Union. It is a big difference working for a Credit Union instead of a bank.  Credit Unions are all about people helping people. This fact alone is what makes it such a joy to come to work each day. I have always believed that if you treat your members and fellow workers with kindness and respect you will be rewarded tenfold.  Each day that kindness and respect is returned to me in numerous ways.

I've worn many different hats since I've been here. I have served as Member Service Representative & Member Service Representative Supervisor. In 2009 I was promoted to the position of Chief Compliance Officer. In the last two years there has been more regulatory changes than I have witnessed in the 30 years of finance. The financial services industry that we operate in is one of the most heavily regulated industries. Most of the regulations are meant to protect the consumer, but these changes make an impact on the institution. Every employee's job is impacted by regulatory compliance. The plethora of new regulations has kept each of us very busy, but will never let that distract us from our most important job....Offering great product and service to our number one asset...our members!!
