According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, net job creation following the 1991 and 2001 recessions came from entrepreneurial companies. In November 2009, the Kauffman Foundation released a study called, The Anatomy of an Entrepreneur: Making of a Successful Entrepreneur. The study identifies success factors and challenges of successful entrepreneurs. One finding showed that 73% of respondents ranked professional networks as important to their success.
