Celtic Music At Butler Winery
Sunday,  October 2nd

Dear Wine and Music Lovers,

Don't miss this opportunity to see Emily Ann Thompson on her return visit to the vineyard at Butler Winery.  She will be performing here on October 2nd, 2 to 5 P.M. For those you not familiar with her music I present her biography below as copied from her web site, emilyannthompson.com.

"From fast, high-energy jigs and reels to captivating airs and ballads, Emily Ann Thompson's performance is lively, passionate, and homegrown with an American flare. Drawing from a wide variety of world music styles, she plays traditional Irish, Scottish, and Canadian fiddle tunes in fresh, original arrangements. Emily drives the rhythm by adding foot percussion that produces a contagious energy throughout her entire show. She also incorporates English and Gaelic singing as well as banjo into the mix. She is joined by her husband Kelly on guitar, percussion, and vocals. Emily tours nationally, performing around 100 concerts per year. In November 2010 she toured for the first time in Ireland. Venues and festivals she has performed in include the Indy Irish Fest, Cape Coral (FL) Irish Fest, Ohio River Valley Folk Festival, Indy Folk Series, Carmel International Arts Festival, Broad Ripple Art Fair, Linton Music Festival, the Zionsville Concert Series and the Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art.  She has released two albums, the most recent of which is available on iTunes, and both are available for purchase at her performances. Her last performance at Butler Winery was delightful. The music was energetic and her engagement with the audience was obvious.  Hope to see you on October 2nd. here at the vineyard.  Sincerely,  Jim Butler
