Defendant allegedly hit victim's dog several times in head & jaw, told her he would rip its ear off & make her eat it, and then threatened to kill her. Dog's jaw was broken & 2 teeth knocked out.

Att 1st Degree Murder (2cts); Arson
Defendant allegedly set her home on fire in an attempt to kill her husband who had threatened to leave her if she embezzled from her employer. When that was unsuccessful, she allegedly shot him and blamed an intruder.
