Defendant allegedly reported her 2-yr old daughter missing one month after she had last been seen, claiming that "Zanny the Nanny" had abuducted her. The child's remains were found near the family home several months later.

Defendant's 13-yr old son is accused of fatally beating his 8-yr old brother to death after being left to babysit him. Sentinel reports there is evidence that defendant abused her 8-yr old as well.  Defendant pled 12/09 & sentenced to 1y jail + 10y probation

Defendant was watching TV, allegedly jumped on top of his wife & repeatedly stabbed her in the neck for no apparent reason. Defendant was granted bond pending sentencing 4/09 & fled. Was recaptured 1-2 days later & subsequently sentenced to 15 years DOC (plea agreement had been for 7 years).
