To local and out of town attendees:
The conference will be held at the Georgetown University Law Center, 600 New Jersey Avenue NW, NOT the Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center, which is across town. The conference will convene in the main building, McDonough Hall.
You can come up the front steps on New Jersey or the 2nd Street entrance on the other side of the building. Check in will begin at 8am and a continental breakfast will be served. The conference will end at 5:30pm.
By metro--The Law Center is easily accessible by Metro. Take the Red Line to Union Station and exit onto Massachusetts Avenue. Turn right on Massachusetts Avenue and walk two blocks to the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and New Jersey Avenue. Turn left on New Jersey Avenue. The Law Center will be on your right.
For out of town attendees:
For those of you staying at the Georgetown University Hotel & Conference Center, it is located at 3800 Reservoir Road NW Washington DC 20057. For more information regarding the hotel call 202-687-3200. If you are only staying the night of the 16th and have been in contact with a conference organizer about lodging, you are on the hotel list and will only need to show ID to check in. If you are only staying one night, bring your bags to the conference in the morning so you can leave directly from Union Station (if that's how you are leaving).
Getting from the Georgetown University Hotel to the Georgetown Law Center-there will be a free PRRAC chartered shuttle leaving from the hotel to the law center directly at 8:00am and 8:15am. If you miss our direct shuttle, there is a complimentary shuttle to the Dupont Circle metro that leaves every 15 minutes starting at 7am from the Leavey Center. From Dupont Circle, take the red line to Union Station and follow the above directions to the Law Center.
For those staying at the Lombardy Hotel, it is located at 2019 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest Washington, DC 20006. For more information regarding the hotel call 202-828-2600. If you are staying the night of the 16th and 17th, you are on the hotel list and will only need to show ID to check in. Best mode of transportation to the Law Center is by cab - please try to share a cab with other conference-goers if you can to save money!
