DAI Launches Toys for Tots Holiday Program
This holiday season will mark the eighth year that DAI has participated in the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. The program is dedicated to bringing cheer and a message of hope to disadvantaged children through the gift of a new, unwrapped toy.
In lieu of office gift exchanges, DAI employees will donate toys over the course of the next month. DAI is proud to support this effort! More on the Toys for Tots program here.

Welcome to the November edition! First of all, we want to wish you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving! Yes, the holiday season has begun and this month we are pleased to be participating for the eighth year in the annual Toys for Tots drive. Additionally, DAI employees are excited to be helping out at this year's Scottish Christmas Walk and Parade weekend, held by the Campagna Center. This is a wonderful holiday event in Alexandria and if you can take part in any of the activities we urge you to do so! A link to more information is provided below. As we enter the holiday season and begin to reflect on the past year at DAI, nowhere is our success and growth better reflected than in the growth of our great employee team. As always, thank you for supporting the DAI Advisor, and remember, past editions can always be accessed on our archive page.

DAI to Support Scottish Christmas Walk
DAI's support of The Campagna Center in Alexandria continues into the holiday season as the Center gears up for their 41st year hosting the Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend and Parade. This weekend draws nearly 30,000 people, with tourists traveling from throughout the mid-Atlantic region to participate in this highly acclaimed community event.

The Campagna Center's Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend and Parade is their largest fundraising activity of the year. Early in 2011, DAI selected the Center as our highlighted local charity and has supported it throughout the year through volunteer support and fundraising programs. The Campagna Center's programs help children in Alexandria arrive at school ready to learn and ensure they are academically successful at each grade level. The Scottish Christmas Walk represents DAI's largest program participation to date as many DAI staff members will provide support for multiple events over the December 2-3 weekend. In addition to the celebrated Saturday parade, events include a marketplace sale, musical concerts, tastings and home tours. To learn more about the Scottish Walk, visit their website here.
