Welcome to the July edition! In light of our recent eFAST contract win, we'll be heading to Atlantic City next week for the FAA small business conference. We're looking forward to meeting FAA colleagues. If you will be there, please stop by our booth (111). As DAI continues to grow, we have launched our second employee recruiting contest. The winner will spend a week in a fabulous resort in Florida! We've begun sending volunteers to support various Campagna Center programs. Finally, this edition introduces our enhanced public relations capabilities with a discussion with one of our newest employees. As always, thank you for supporting the DAI Advisor, and remember, past editions can always be accessed on our archive page.

Campagna Center Volunteering Begins
DAI hosted a Campagna Center lunch for employees to learn more about volunteer opportunities and how to register as volunteers. Volunteering started in earnest this week with HR Manager, John Viarella, and Human Capital Project Manager, Alex Morris, taking part in the "Building Better Futures" program that mentors high school-aged children in life skills. They hosted mock money management tables in a "real world" scenario in which the children learned to manage spending based on an allotted monthly paycheck.

Introducing DAI's PR Capabilities
"Communication is the key to success," says Angelita Coln-Francia, DAI's new public relations consultant, explaining why DAI has added public relations services to its client offerings. "Public Relations can positively boost a client's specific business goals and objectives."
Angelita speaks from experience. For the past 11 years, she has developed and implemented public relations strategies for government and private sector clients. Angelita leads DAI's team in supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs VA for Vets program launch, scheduled for the fall. Asked how DAI's new PR capabilities can benefit our clients, Angelita says "Public Relations is the driver to effectively communicate our clients' messages to their target audiences. To do it, we listen to our clients' needs, gain insight, and create a trusted extension of their public affairs and marketing departments. The result is an enhanced public profile and stronger ties to their target audiences."
