ROA: Not Your Typical Jewish Camp
 Somewhere between the early morning Frisbee games, meals cooked on camping stoves, and days spent hiking on 10,000 foot peaks, one thing became very clear: Ramah Outdoor Adventure at Ramah in the Rockies isn't your typical Jewish camp.
This past summer, seventeen counselors traveled to Deckers, Colorado for an intensive nine-day training at what will soon become Ramah's first adventure camp.

Welcome to our first Chodesh Tov update! 
Each month, we will feature a member of our Ramah Outdoor Adventure community. This month, our featured person is Risa Isard. Risa attended our staff training program in 2009 and will be returning as a founding 
The Pioneers Campaign is raising $500,000 enabling site improvements and scholarships for the June 2010 camp opening. We are aiming for 100 gifts at $5,000 and are 60% of the way there.
