S&P 500 Drawdowns since May 2009 

S&P Drawdowns 5-10
Since the current rally started in May 2009, there have been 9 drawdowns from -3% to the current -11.97% (as of last Thursday).  A drawdown is defined as a decline from a high.

Lost Decade Looming?

In the best news I've heard all week, Paul Krugman is asking whether the next 10 years will be another lost decade due to inflation and unemployment.

I pretty much disagree with everything Paul Krugman says, so if he's worried about the next 10 years, then I take that as a strongly bullish sign.

Impact of the US $ on a Developing CountryUganda Map
