This week is the 1st Quarter 2010 review and 2nd Quarter preview. 

I have some specific recommendations in my video, including
* Watch out for bonds and bond funds
* Oil and Gold are to be watched.  A very small amount of gold may make sense.
* Market will be down for the 2nd quarter as inflation slowly goes up
* others......

This is my 2nd Quarter action item video.

1st Quarter Market Review

Nasdaq + 5.7%
S&P 500 + 5.39%
DJIA + 4.7%
Barclays Aggregate Bond +  1.78%

First quarter was pretty good, even if the first 6 weeks were a little tough.

What if Interest Rates Don't Rise

Okay, let's say I'm wrong and interest rates don't rise.  What happens?Percent Sign

Implied interest rates will still increase yields on new issues, but from a global point of view, it will probably keep us in a deflationary period which keeps us in a recession.  Will this exacerbate the housing crisis?  Very possibly so.

Mike Brady love dogs

My wife Cassidy and I just love our dog Mulder.  HMulder & Mikee's the 2nd Standard Poodle (the 1st being Picard) we've had.

I love that Boulder is so dog friendly.  Is there anything better than the unconditional love a dog brings into your life?
