2009 SAFETY AWARDS
STP Logo
On February 4, 2010, our annual safety awards were presented to honor and recognize the achievements of "Team Heaton" for the year 2009.  Our program was created  fourteen years ago to track the safety performance of our employees, and provide a means of recognition on an individual and company wide basis. Our award criteria is very stringent and therefore winners each year have attained a high level of safety excellence. Many of our employees have been accident free for several years, as evidenced by the award levels. To provide a perspective of this accomplishment, an employee must work a minimum of five years without ANY incidents to qualify for the 10,000 hour award. We are very proud to announce the annual award winners for 2009. Please extend your congratulations to them as you see them on your jobsites or projects.

SAFETY EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR - 2009

trevor
Congratulations to Trevor Merritt, our 2009 Safety Employee of the Year. Trevor has been employed with HEI since April of 1998. He began his career as a first year apprentice from Local 926 IUOE and has literally "grown up" with us at Heaton. He now is a CCO certified operator and has over 12,000 hours of accident free employment. Trevor exemplifies the fundamentals of our safety program. He is dedicated to providing the best in customer service, and many of our customers ask for him by name when renting a crane. In 2008, Trevor served as our jobsite liason and representative on the extremely difficult Atlanta Airport CONRAC project and was awarded a project safety recognition award for his contributions to the success of the job.

Team Heaton is proud to honor Trevor Merritt for his outstanding contributions and commitment to the principles of safety!
