2010 Program Year Being Guided by Statewide Survey

Provided in both English and Spanish, Extension's statewide survey was conducted to help guide program priorities for the 2010 program year.
 
Thirty percent of the respondents were from Cook County. We thank all of you for sharing your interests and priorities, and look forward to enhancing our offerings to meet your suggestions and requests.

Fun at the Farm

U of I Extension Master Gardeners are conducting hands-on gardening with youth visiting the Lincoln Park Zoo Farm. 
 
Activities include planting seeds, pulling weeds and harvesting produce. Composting lessons are also given.

Look for Extension at the Annual Auburn/Gresham Health Fair:

Extension will share health-related information at the fair that will also include a farmers market and various health screenings. It is sponsored by the Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation, Elev8 and Perspectives-Calumet Middle School.
