NCGA Joins Farm Bill Now Coalition

 

NCGA has joined a coalition of 39 of the nation's foremost agricultural organizations in an effort to raise public awareness of the need for Congress to pass a new, comprehensive, five-year farm bill before current farm programs expire in September. The coalition, called Farm Bill Now, issued a statement, titled "Why We Need a Farm Bill," on the importance of new farm legislation for America's farmers this week.

NCGA, ASA Host Value-Chain Discussion

 

The National Corn Growers Association and the American Soybean Association brought together key industry stakeholders to continue a dialogue on ways to improve cooperation and communication on biotechnology and market access issues.  The meetings built upon prior discussions, during which representatives agreed that it would be beneficial for the industry to communicate more regularly and openly on such matters.
