TICK & FLEA SWFL OUTBREAK

We are flooded with ticks and fleas in Southwest Florida this season.  Pet medication may not be enough to control them and protect your family.

Having us treat your home and yard from ticks and fleas will ticksprotect your family.

Keeping ticks and fleas from invading your home is our mission.  Don't wait to call us until they are found in beds.   Our preventive care may save you or your child from Lyme disease.

Blister Beetle Bugs

Blister Bettle bug

They feed on flowers, foliage, alfalfa, ornamental plants, potatoes, soybeans, vegetables, grasshopper eggs and solitary bees.  Female beetles lay clusters of eggs in the soil.

Blister beetles bodies contain a toxin, cantharadin, that may cause blisters on your skin if you come in contact with them.

WHAT IS YOUR DOG EATING?

By Guest Writer Nikki Timberlake

Have you ever looked at the ingredients listed on your dogs food and wondered what you are really feeding your pet?

Lets take the word by-products that is a nice way of saying the left overs off the slaughter house floor like beaks, feet, feathers, entrails, brains, blood and such.

If that wasn't enough to have you rethink your pets food then lets talk about the animals that are used in making up your pets food, they are often the dead, dying, diseased, and disabled or down referred to in the industry as the 4-D's.

These animals are rendered down at high temperatures and then ground until the fat floats to the top. This fat is then used in your pets food as "animal fat".

Sometimes these rendered animals were other dogs and cats that were euthanized, sick or even roadkill

Even though these animals were cooked at very high temperatures the pharmaceuticals that were used on them can often withstand the high temperatures and ends up in your pets supposed nutritious food.

And if that wasn't enough alot of the time these dead animals are left in containers for days before they are processed and they become rancid with bad bacteria and mold.

Those are somethings that are allowed in pet foods.

Then things like food dyes, toxic preservatives such as Ethoxiquin which is used to prevent moisture build up in the food so think about that.

It then gets into our pets intestines and dehydrates them and this causes a toxic environment which means that our pets can no longer properly assimilate their foods.

Often times our pets food contains corn syrup which is added to flavor the food so that the dogs will eat it.

So the supposedly nutritious food that we are feeding our pets can actually be subjecting them to things that can cause them to get cancer and diabetes.

So before you buy that next bag of food for your pet, you may want to do a little research.
