| What is Woman's Life?
We are a local chapter of a nationwide organization dedicated to brining women together and give back to the community. We are a motivated group of positive women joining forces for a common purpose: to enjoy each others company, inspire each other into greatness and to make a difference in the lives of others. This group provides the perfect venue for you to meet other women that like you are interested in giving back to the community and making a positive impact in the lives of those less fortunate.
Our main goal is to organize, promote and hold fundraising events throughout the year that will help raise money to support local non-profit organizations. All of the funds raised will be matched (subject to rules and requirements) by the Women's Life National Organization. If you have ever had the desire to pay it forward or if you feel you want to add meaning and purpose to your life - this is the perfect group for you!

| Matching Funds Program
The society will match $ 1 for each $1 raised by Woman's life members through fundraising on a project initiated and organized by the woman's life chapter.
- Each fundraiser must be pre- approved by home Office.
- The fundraiser must benefit a needy person (s) or a not - for - profit organization.
- Up to $ 500.00 per project will be matched, with a maximum of $ 5000.00 per year per chapter for the total of all matching funds and volunteer service project grants.
- Additional matching funds of up to $ 500.00 per year are available for fundraisers of the society national cause
- The chapter can do multiple projects for one recipient as well as select a number of different project recipients
- Minimum of 5 chapter member must work on the project

Our guest speaker will be Paul Sipala.
He will be talking about the following:
1. A brief history of the Woman's Life Fraternal Society. It has a long and proud history and he will cover the important reasons it was founded and how those principles are still alive today.
2. Overview of the fraternal benefits that are available to all members.
3. He will discuss the differences between social memberships and benefit memberships.
4. Lastly, he will review the products that are offered to Woman's Life members.
He will share his copy of AN ENDURING HERITAGE by Keith Yates which is a history of the first 100 years of the Society.

Paul has over 28 years experience in Tax and Financial Planning and he is a Qualifying and Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He has B.A. in Economics/English from Lasalle University in Philadelphia, Pa and holds the following professional designations - Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Registered Financial Consultant.

Woman's Life Canned Good Drive!
 Woman's Life collects canned goods at every meeting and donates them to local food banks. We believe we really can help feed the hungry... one can at a time! Canned goods are currently supporting Grace Community Center Food Ministry which is located at 4151 Hancock Bridge Pkwy, North Ft Myers FL. They are part of Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Coral. The purpose of the center is to help families and individuals in need. Currently they have a thrift store that helps support the center but they are in great need of food for their food pantry. They have aligned with Harry Chapin and are able to buy food from them but they need the funds to do it.
They have food distribution on the third Saturday of each month. In January they gave out 1,300 pounds of food and touched 107 people. In February they gave out over 2,800 pounds of food. They were able to give out 2,675 pounds of food and touched 234 people for their March distribution. Woman's Life is proud to be a part of this giving movement in our community. You will not want to miss the Woman's Life 32nd National Convention in San Antonio, Texas!! The National Convention will be held at the Hilton Palacio del Rio Hotel which is located on the famous River Walk and adjoins La Villita, the original village of San Antonio. You will be able to step outside the hotel to enjoy the River Walk, art galleries, the Arneson River Theatre, sidewalk cafes, shops or a scenic river cruise. The Tower of the Americas is across the street in Hemis Fair Park, while the Rivercenter Mall and the Alamo are less than two blocks away!!
