Greetings!

Spring Time! We hope this update finds you well and gearing up for a great season in West Falmouth.

WF Getty Station Closed!

Les and Wanda Oser have decided to close the gas station after 4 years.
The property was recently purchased by BP and the new lease /rental terms made it difficult for the Oser's to sustain the operation.
Len and Wanda continue to live in N Falmouth, Wanda works at Falmouth Hospital and Len in Boston.
They wished to express that they miss everyone terribly and had fun for 4 years. Having grown up in falmouth,Len was a lifeguard at chappy in the 70's, it was their dream to have the business in the village. They wanted express their appreciation to everyone for their patronage.

THANK YOU
Len & Wanda
WEST FALMOUTH ROADSIDES GET A SPRING CLEAN UP

West Falmouth Clean-up Campaign 2011

The Falmouth Beautification Council's Spring Litter Clean-up is scheduled for Saturday April 16 through Saturday April 23.

Please participate in our collective effort to remove the bottles, cans, and litter from our sidewalks, roads, parks, and beach areas.

Just dress in sensible clothes, carry a trash bag and perhaps a small 3 pronged gardening hoe to retrieve litter from under bushes and vines. The town will collect litter trash bags with regular

garbage during the clean-up week.

Past volunteers will be contacted again for participation in this year's beautification project.  Sue and Milt Williamson are the West Falmouth coordinators and are always looking for new helpers.  Please give them a call at 508-540-5298 or email them at willmilt@comcast.net. if you can join the other clean-up volunteers.

Let's clear away winter's debris and beautify West Falmouth, the gem of a village on Buzzards Bay. Remember- beautification begins with each of us.  Your participation would be most appreciated.
