Keep Your Load Secured
Headed for an Environmental Depot or one of our TRY Recycling Yards? Make sure all your wastes reach their destination. Remember, flying debris is a danger to other motorists and creates unsightly litter on our roadways.
Even if you are going a short distance and not driving on a highway, you are still required by law to secure your load.

MUD MANAGEMENT
| |
|
In fine-grained soils, spring thaw and rain will produce mud which slows work considerably. Preparation for these conditions can be made by preparing the work area, haul roads and jobsite access with a recycled aggregate or woodchip surface.
Recommended Uses:
- temporary roads
- mud control around construction sites and farm yards
- walking/hiking trails
- event sites
- parking areas
Product Description:
Over-Sized Wood Chips - $3.00/tonne The size of this material varies, but is usually about 6" minus (and large enough to carry the weight of heavy equipment). Caution: This is not beauty bark and is not cedar play chips. Even though we have an aggressive sorting program this is a recycled wood product and may contain an incidental amount of other materials. Recycled wood chips include OSB and plywood. No pressure treated and painted wood is allowed. Please use in appropriate applications. More Details >>
Over-Sized Brush Mulch - $5.13/tonne The size of this material also varies but again, it is usually about 6" minus (and large enough to carry the weight of heavy equipment). This product does NOT contain OSB, plywood, pressure treated or painted wood. Although this material is more attractive than our over-sized wood chip it still may contain an odd piece of plastic or paper. More Details >>
Benefits of using:
- Oversize is more popular with contractors when landscaping larger areas such as borders, business parks, car parks, banks and sloping ground.
- The product is low maintenance, free draining and cost effective. It will last in excess of three years and will require topping-up to maintain the products effectiveness when necessary.
- Large particle size resists wind
- Cheaper than other materials that may be used for mud and moisture control
Application: Apply at a rate of 3" to 12" for mud control, depending upon conditions.
Note: We also carry a large supply of recycled aggregate that would provide you with the same end result. By purchasing a Recycled Aggregate as opposed to a native aggregate, you would be saving money and our environment.
