Happy New Year!!
I've been reading from 1 Samuel during my evening devotions lately. I'm struck by the way King Saul eventually stops relying on God and takes life into his own hands. At the same time, David continually asks God what to do. King Saul falls out of God's favor. He dies on the battlefield with his sons.
What battles are "killing" you?
