 Youth Worker Retreat: iMinistry
Are you wondering how to use technology and social media to enhance ministry? Do you want to know what technologies youth are using and what the next big thing might be? Want to find out which technologies are worth your time and energy? Bring your laptop, desktop, phone, or tablet and join us for a day to explore the use of things such as facebook, twitter, youtube, blogs, vlogs, text signal, church websites, cell or smart phones, and google with it's many free features (googledocs, googleforms, etc). It will be a day of hands on learning. Laura Anderson, Director of Youth and Family Ministries at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar and Jeremy Hallquist, Director of Youth and Family Ministries at South Santiago Lutheran Church in Clear Lake will be our facilitators. Both have extensive knowledge and experience using technology and social networking to enhance ministry. There will also be opportunities to share your knowledge.
