Did you know that most camps encourage pastors and youth directors (paid and volunteer) to attend camp with their youth? Spending even one day at camp with kids is equivalent to the work you would do in a month at home...don't miss this great opportunity!

I participated in our synod assembly this past weekend and I was struck by all the people giving and living their lives in grateful response to Christ's forgiveness and love. I see God's love and work bubbling and gushing up all over the place. What a church we are a part of!

The joint Prairie
and Shetek Conference Pastors meeting will be hosted by Shetek Lutheran Ministries on
May 20. The guest speaker for that
morning will be Dr. Paul Hill of Vibrant Faith Ministries We'd love to host you at your
camp on the 20th! We'll share in fellowship over coffee and rolls around
9, proceed with short conference 'business' meetings, hear from Paul Hill, join
together in worship and eat some good food at camp. Please RSVP to
Kristin at Shetek so they can plan accordingly for food.

Sleepout: Senior High Youth Event
November 12- 13,
2010, 7 pm- 5 pm
Gustavus Adolphus
College, St. Peter
You're invited to
join your youth, Pastor Grady St. Dennis and political science
professor Dr. Richard Leitch in spending one night without a home. The purpose of this event is to raise
awareness of homelessness and learn about hunger issues, and think about what
is being done and can be done to end hunger and homelessness in our
communities.
Cost: No cost,
but youth leaders must pre-register the group by November 8.
