Double your sales with a "Call to Action!"

 

Nothing happens in your business until you sell something...Wouldn't you agree this sums up your business?  As a small business owner, a micro- business entrepreneur, and/or an independent contractor (and for that matter any business of any size...), your daily, weekly, and monthly sales determines your businesses net worth.    Most businesses NEED to sell more... but don't necessary have the marketing funds to grow accordingly.  A cost effective way to double your sales is to ensure you have an effective "Call to Action!" on every piece of marketing that you produce!

A"Call to Action!"

Times are a changing!  It's hard to sometimes keep up... Your marketing from yesterday is old and out-dated and needs to change and become even more flexible.  Check out some of these stats

and decide for yourself if you are flexible and adapting along the way:

1.      As of 2010 Gen Y will outnumber Baby Boomers... 96% of them have joined a social network!

2.      Years to Reach 50 million Users: Radio (38 Years), TV (13 Years), Internet (4 Years), iPod (3 Years)...Facebook added 100 million users in less than 9 months...iPhone applications hit 1 billion in 9 months.

3.      If Facebook were a country it would be the world's 4th largest between the United States and Indonesia.

 

How fast are you moving in your business?  Are you trying to run your business like an Olympic athlete in training (daily focus on your goals, working ON and IN the business) or still playing victim and complaining about change and how fast the world is moving...

 

A great way I have personally found to increase sales and grow my own business is implementing a "Call to Action!" all the time... every time... everywhere I can, clearly, concisely, and consistently.   

 

A "Call to Action!" is a very short and direct statement/ question that positions you and your business as an authority to your target market.  This specific sentence/ phrase/ probing question ideally appears on every marketing piece that advertises your business:   

Your Website,  

Your Personal flyer/ brochure,  

Your business cards,  

Your social media tools,  

Your banners, buttons and the like throughout the online world.   

 

The best products and sales people sell more because they use an effective "Call to Action!" on a daily basis to grab the attention of their prospective customers, both online and off.   

 

Here are some cool and effective "Call to Actions!" for you to use in your business today...

 

Click here.  The most common and widely used phrase and most effective in terms of conversation online.

 

CALL NOW.  Works best with the actual telephone number prominently displayed next to the number.

 

BUY NOW.  Also substituted with Order Now...  

 

Free Consultation.  Works great for me and any other service based business model.  Contacting someone for an assessment is fantastic as you determine how serious the prospect is for your services.    

 

Reserve now.  Works great in the travel industry, selling urgency.  (You dinosaurs will remember this one as well... Here today gone tomorrow!)

The bottom line is that a creative "Call to Action!" puts you in the driver's seat helping people buy YOU and YOUR services by telling them how you operate and do business...

I have a website but need help marketing it.  My website feels like I have a billboard ad in the middle of the desert!  How can I market it and then make money from it?
