New Head of School, New School Year, New Chapter for Trinity Episcopal School

Trinity Episcopal School kicked off its 2011-12 school year Wednesday, August 17. New Head of School Tom Franz opened car doors, greeted students and turned the page in the next chapter of the School's history. New and returning faculty and staff welcomed students as they literally hit the ground running for the new academic year. Founded in 2000 with 102 students, Trinity Episcopal School currently has 415 students enrolled in grades K-8. Trinity's curriculum emphasizes creative and critical thinking. The campus is located at 750 E. 9th Street in the Garden District of Uptown Charlotte's First Ward neighborhood, with the entire Center City as an extended classroom for cultural enrichment, hands-on learning and opportunities to serve.
