The Interfaith Union is a resource center for people who are dating or intermarried of all religious traditions - Christian, Jewish, Muslim and all others - which provides educational support, mentoring, community and the celebration of sacred rites and ritual.

Our mission is one of compassion, understanding and acceptance of all, and recognition that each person's spiritual journey is unique and to be respected.

We are a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization, and your contributions are tax-deductible, as allowed by

Christian & Muslim. If this is you, or you have friends or co-workers that might be interested in such a group, please let us know: we are anxious to begin anew!
WELCOME TO FALL!

Hoping everyone had a meaningful holiday and an easy fast.  It is a pleasure to welcome you to our fall season, where there is a lot going on:  I hope to see you soon.  If there are activities or programs we can offer to support you on your journey, please let us know!

This month, we will continue our popular "Under 5's" program.Our mission is the following:

1. To share examples and be role models for each other on how best to integrate two religions into family life;

2. To form relationships/friendships with other interfaith couples who have similarly aged children; and

3. To learn how and when to start teaching our young children about God and the principles of our respective religious traditions.

If you have had a Naming-Baptism ceremony this year or in the recent past, or are planning an upcoming ceremony, or if you are just interested in topics that support an interfaith family....ALL are welcome to attend.

Each month there are three sites to meet: this month, the Under 5's at Old St. Pat's/Chicago will at 9:30-10:30am in the FXW school, St. Raymond's/Mt. Prospect at 10:45-11:45am in the PMC and St. Athanasius/Evanston at 10:45-11:45am in the Fitzgerald Center, lower level.  All will be meeting on Sunday, Oct. 25th.

If you would like more info, please let us know. I believe it is our families that will be the peace-makers of the world. We hope to see you there - it won't be fun without you!
