The Interfaith Union

has a special request.........

We have been invited to participate in a survey to gather information about prayer in marital and family life. Very little is known about how, when, where, why, how often couples pray outside a church setting. Do couples pray for  each other and their families? Do they pray with each other? Do partners pray silently or aloud, alone or together? Do partners have the same of different ways of praying? Do marriage and family life become part of one's prayer? Does prayer change over the course of married life? Does interfaith life change components of a person's prayer life?

PLEASE JOIN IN THIS STUDY!

Professor Paul Giblin, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Pastoral Counseling at Loyola University is a friend of The Interfaith Union and would very much appreciate hearing about your prayer experiences. In order to participate you simply need to be part of a married couple, with or without children who pray separately or together. The confidential survey will be administered on-line and all participants will remain anonymous. (the study protocol follows all approved guidelines and is under the auspices of Loyolya University's Institutional Review Board.)

To participate, please contact Paul directly at 312-915-7483 or pgibli@luc.edu.  Thank you in advance; I hope this creates some stimulating conversations around the dinner table as well!
