Living Joyfully
|
|
Life and death, a twisting vine sharing a single root.
A water bright green stretching to top a twisted yellow only to wither itself as another green unfolds overhead.
One leaf atop another yet under the next; a vibrant tapestry of arcs and falls all in the act of becoming.
Death is the passing of life. And life is the stringing together of so many little passings. -Rabbi Rami M. Shapiro

Patricia Wickman RYT, CAP, CPT started practicing yoga in 1993. She was
initially attracted to yoga for fitness and body sculpting, but gradually
awakened to the profound emotional, psychological and spiritual effects of
regular yoga practice. Her interest deepened after she had her first child and
noticed that connecting with her breath throughout the day improved her
mothering and helped relieve stress. She completed her Yoga Alliance teacher
training in 2006 at Soma Yoga Studio in Salt Lake City under the guidance of Peter Francyk and Erin Geesaman Rabke. She studied Ayurvedic Medicine from
2006-2009 at Kanyakumari in Milwaukee with Patricia Layton. She is certified as
an Ayurvedic Practitioner and as a Panchakarma Technician. Patricia lives in
Eau Claire, Wisconsin with her husband and two kids. She owns Radiant Living
Yoga and Ayurveda. Please visit her website at rlyaa.com.

Pranayama & Meditation with Peter Francyk
|
|
Explore the connection between mind, body and breath by learning the ancient arts of pranayama and meditation. Through pranayama, we
learn to use the breath to direct life energy through
the body and through all layers of our being. It is the gateway to
meditation, which takes us deeper into the workings of the mind. This
relaxing and informative class will enhance your ability to unwind, and
add depth to your practice of all other limbs of Yoga.
Class meets Wednesdays, 7:15-8:30 pm through July. No need to preregister: just drop in!
