It is said that "You are only as old as your spine." For many of us, keeping a vital, strong, pain-free movementback can be a challenge, with hours spent sitting behind the wheel, or at a desk or in front of a computer we can lose some of the vast potential for movement and organization in our spine. Some take the view that tight abs are the key to back health, yet a core that only knows shortening, and does not allow freedom of movement and freedom of breath can put even more strain on the back. In this workshop we will exlpore movement lessons that reawaken the potential for skillful, coordinated movement in the back, and the essential role that the hip joints play in supporting a vital, healthy spine.

YBR reeducates muscles and stimulates bones creating positive and permanent changes in the body. Lying on the ball, you literally roll your body out almost like dough, stretching and elongating your muscles. The YBR routines follow specific sequences that match the body's own logic and order. Starting where each muscle begins at its origin, you roll toward where it attaches to the point called its insertion.

YBR is a natural complement to Yoga and Pilates: They both eliminate stress and tension. After a class, you'll feel relaxed and energized at the same time! You will improve your posture and alignment. You'll get more energy and stamina.

Body Awareness Meditation

Join the movement of inner health and healing through the practice of Body Awareness Meditation.This practice involves laying down, getting relaxed, and following guided instructions to breathe while visiting each area of the body.

Body Awareness Meditation relieves stress from the body and the mind, fosters a loving relationship with our bodies, and creates a feeling of deep calm and clarity.  If you want to feel good in your body, about your body, and with your body ~ Join us!  You'll be so glad you did.

 Excellent for for first-time meditators and experienced practitioners alike.   

Please bring a mat to lay on for comfort during your experience. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in before the practice begins.
