It is said that "You are only as
old as your spine." For many of us, keeping a vital, strong, pain-free
back can be a challenge, with hours spent sitting behind the wheel, or
at a desk or in front of a computer we can lose some of the vast
potential for movement and organization in our spine. Some take the view
that tight abs are the key to back health, yet a core that only knows
shortening, and does not allow freedom of movement and freedom of
breath can put even more strain
on the back. In this workshop we will exlpore movement lessons that
reawaken the potential for skillful, coordinated movement in the back,
and the essential role that the hip joints play in supporting a vital,
healthy spine.
