Living Joyfully: Asteya
|
| Hi Everyone! It's a new month and we've got some great changes at the studio. Yin Yoga is moving to an earlier time (yay!), and we're adding two new classes. Please check the new schedule to see all the updates & changes. We're also welcoming two wonderful new instructors: Garrick and Jen. Garrick brings a variety of life experiences to his teaching - a business professional involved in the Life Sci ences industry, including the Human Genome Project, he is also an entrepreneur who turned to Yoga after sports injuries. He brings a sense of passion and fun to his practice and his teaching. His new class, Deep Flow, begins Feb 14.
Jen comes to us from the Anusara Yoga tradition, and will be teaching in the Anusara style. This beautiful form of practice is accessible to all, and involves a combination of opening to grace and attuning to alignment. Jen's desire for a more peaceful, positive world is one of her greatest inspirations. She believes that we must all look inward and discover the true beauty that resides in each of our souls. Through the practice of Yoga, the energy which empowers our mind & body has the potential to vibrate through the universe and influence those around us in a positive manner. Jen will be teaching two morning classes, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please join us in giving them both a very warm welcome. Namaste, Erin |

Peter is Back! Renowned Yoga teacher Peter Francyk returns to Salt Lake for this essential 2-day workshop. Whether you are a newcomer to Yoga who senses that there is more to the practice, or a long-time practitioner looking to deepen your connection in 2010, this workshop is for you.
According to Ayurveda, everyt hing in the universe is made up of a combination of the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. The human being also has 'soul' or 'spirit.' Understanding the ways in which these elements flow through and around us can deeply enhance both our personal Yoga practice and our class experience.
"The Elements of Practice" takes the Ayurvedic elements as the starting point for an exploration of the practice of Yoga on a deeply integrated level. Saturday Feb 6 & Sunday Feb 7, 1-5 pm $100 for both days in advance,
or $60 per session / day-of Stop by or call the studio
